Electroplating

To yield uncompromised electrical connections , SPF America currently offers various in-house electroplating technologies. These processes are key to our vertically integrated copper busbar offering, and part of how we’re able to drive strong OTD. 

We offer electroplating of Nickel, Bright/Matte Tin, and Tin/Lead with aggressive lead times. We also work with strategic partners to provide: silver, electroless nickel, zinc, tin on aluminum bus.

Bright/Matte Tin, Nickel and Silver coated copper busbars are ROHS compliant.

Powder Coating

To provide an insulation barrier, a dielectric powder coating may applied, with numerous color options available. Material, voltage ratings, coating thickness, and color options vary dependent on project requirements. Parts can be sandblasted to prepare for the coating process.

Heat Shrink Insulation

We’re able to adjust our heat shrink tubing voltage to the ratings of your design parameters.

Printing & Marking

Parts can be marked or serialized within your requirements, either through indented markings, ink or labels.

Deburring

We offer multiple deburring options to ensure your products have smooth edges and clean finishes on your parts.
